With a relevant experience of 1.77 years, Akash is proficient in Blockchain, Solidity, Smart Contract, infra, Polygon, test, Frontend, Research Scientist, and AI. Prior to joining Laguna Labs, Akash has worked as a Research Intern at the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of South Carolina, where he worked on improving natural language understanding capabilities of mental healthcare AI systems by infusing knowledge from ontologies. He has also worked as a Research Intern at the University of California, where he worked on developing a technique to generate high-quality training data for learning automatic evaluation metrics in open-domain story generation systems. His work got accepted at the North American Association of Computational Linguistics 2021 as a conference paper. Akash holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Roorkee, where he studied from 2017 to 2021. He is skilled in Rust, Solidity, and Substrate.
